Gingerbread House
My youngest son and I went to the grocery store today and he decided he wanted a gingerbread house that he could do by himself. So, I bought him one of those kits. With no help from me here is how it turned out. I asked him why he didn't use more frosting and he told me because the snow was melting. I had all I could do to keep from laughing. You just have to love em'

I made one for Halloween that looks just like that except it came with black and orange frosting.

Oh how fun. :) I use to make those from scratch, no kit, with my mother when I was younger.

I've never made a gingerbread house...I generally stick with cookies.

In answer to your question Jacy he is 12 and loves to help me with any kind of craft. He even sewed a small pillow on my sewing machine right after I bought it.
What a great job he did on his house...and yes only out of the mouth of youngsters! Who else would have had an answer like he did!
Wow, I did get the same one. I can't wait to see what my three do with it! lol!
