Winter scarves

My Mom had a car accident a few months ago and broke her neck. Ever since she complains that any little bit of cold air on the back of her neck makes her neck throb. I decided I would make her a few scarves to keep her warm this winter. Here is the first one that I just finished. I just did a basic scarf with a shell boarder. I also found a wonderful site with crochet patterns. There are so many patterns on this site you won't even know where to begin. I have posted it at the bottom of this post.

That's a cool scarf - and what a sweet project!

It's wonderful that you have the talent to do this for your mom like that! I wished I could knit or crochet like that. Oh well, I'll stick to polymer clay for now or sewing!

Sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she's doing well. My mom just broke her arm in a fall and is still recovering.

That's so nice of you to think of her in that way.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their concern. My Mom is doing much better. She is returning to work next week for 4 hours a day and continuing to go to physical therapy.
